15 in the Dark is a Chicago-based filmmaking collaborative.

We were fed up with our own whining about never finishing a project,

so we formed a support group. Not a group to gather just to discuss,

but a group to come together and make shit happen. Our common goal

is to tell a great story. We’re together to remind each other to keep

that idea in the crosshairs—always being mindful of our budget, but

never letting that deter our endgame. There are few things more rewarding

than working with a group of people who bring their own attributes to

the table and continue to excite, challenge, and inspire one another.

‘15 in the Dark’ is a reference to the average number of minutes a person misses during a film due to blinking (yeah, we’re Radiolab nerds).
